Service Manager A web service that navigates all available INKS Web Services through all UDDI registries; provides runtime for enterprise applications.

Resource Manager A web service that controls assets physical and nonphysical for projects including rooms, offices, personnel, equipment, time, budgets, and documentation.

LDAP Client A web service that manages directories and accesses the Tier 3 XML repository. This service also performs inverse queries (IQ) with an IQ Tool as mandated by INKS architecture. The client logs all activity and can write back to Tier 3.

Authoring Tool A word processor capable of input and recording from video, audio sources in addition to MS-Office sources; it can be an XML data capture tool (ex. for biometric sources).

Offline Client A client used when XML repositories are online and offline; it presents a secure cache of Tier 3 data which is cached only in memory not on the hard drive.

Report Generator A service that works in conjunction with all INKS web services; XML formatted output lives in repository.
